4 SIMPLE STEPS
1. Access to your resistor (usually behind/ under the glove box).
2. Release the 2 screws that secure the resistor. Unplug the resistor connector and the resistor plug.
3. Disconnect the vehicleβs negative battery cable. Replace the old wire harness by cutting the wires and matching them to the new wire harness (take note of where each wire goes).
4. Reinstall with the new resistor. You can put some dielectric grease on in the resistor connector housing to avoid water intrusion.
