For precise readings, calibrate the thermometer probe before use with a glass of ice water, it should read 32°F (0°C). Please avoid twisting the probe cable repeatedly, it will cause breakage.

3 MAINTENANCE TIPS

1. Proper Cleaning: Use a soft damp cloth with mild soap to clean the probe after use.

2. Careful when Using: Avoid severe bending or twisting of the probe cable.

3. Regular Calibration Check: Place the probe in ice water; it should read 32°F (0°C). If it's inconsistent, you can lower/raise the temp difference.

Looks exactly like my OEM RTD. Form, fit and function make it a easy plug and play installation. Appears to be well made of thick stainless. Temperature readings seem to be in the nominal range. The price didn't break the bank and my smoker is back in action
