7-mm was a little thick for some tension knots, but I was able to find one I liked that works well with this rope. I prefer thicker rope, and have been using this rope for mock self rescue, building anchors, and tying up equipment. Great utility for both life saving and utility purposes. Even after some heavy use none of this rope shows much ware. No complaints.

I ordered this cordelette in 7MM X 30FT for climbing. This worked perfectly for this purpose. It is very easy to work with and tie knots in. The materials look and feel great and the sheath weave is very uniform. The ends came pre-melted. This is also available in multiple color schemes which allow you to color code for different lengths and systems. As a bonus all the colors I have gotten look nice too, not that it matters much.I have used this for different length anchors as well as a purpose made equalizing quad anchor for bolted top roping. Good rope at a good price (especially when you get some free shipping action).

Perfect Prusik Rope! Instead of buying the overpriced Hunter Safety System's Lifeline ropes, we purchased 10MM main line and this 7MM for the prusik ropes. This was a great combination and cost half of what the HSS offerings cost. This allows us to replace the ropes every 2 years without feeling the sting of $35 per rope.
