No locking mechanism and you will lose the slider and weight. Strikers have them and you still lose many. I don't recommend it. Nice concept but needs a new design. Been using them for years but will go back to the ones that are tied.

These slider weight clips work great until they twist and fly off. Because there's no locking mechanism. The yellow section of the sliding weight has locking mechanisms, but this brand did not.

I ordered these for the versatility of being able to switch from bottom fishing to freeline depending upon conditions, nobody local to me carries them and I'm glad I found them here
