After the difficult installation, I am happy with the performance. The installation proved difficult with the spring and the rod mating together. Maybe I got one that was made at 5:00 on Friday.

Had to give it 3 stars due to the fact that my first one failed after 3 weeks. I did get a free replacement- but decided to go with the factory switch on the gas pedal, since I had the bracket in the car. I switched from a manual to the TH400 and was pleased to see that the switch bracket was in the vehicle. It is an easy to install item and has more adjustment to it than the factory setup, but mines doing fine so far without it.

I installed this on my 1969 Chevy C10 since I added the 400 turbo transmission. The only thing that I had to do that took time was make a bracket for the switch. None of the brackets purchased would work. It works great and easy to wire up but I would always wire to the fuse box.

Excellent product, came with everything needed to install. Although, I used it on a A-518 instead of a 400 thm. The cable could have been a little longer.

Never used a kickdown till now...now that's what i have been missing..easy install .just need to mod the bracket

Great product..Used it on my 65 Pontiac 2+2, 421 . Read the directions a couple of times before you try to install. I ended up cutting the cable to short & screwing up the spring but was able to go to the local hardware store & buy what I needed to fix what I screwed up... Again, works great, but don't, repeat, don't cut anything until after you have it mocked up and and see that it is workingworking

I replaced the original kickdown switch with this kit on my 69 Camaro when I installed an edelbrock carburetor to replace the aging quadrajet that was stock. This kick worked perfectly.

Product worked as advertised was used on a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville 389 only needed a little tuning and now car is really a blast to drive would recommend to any one wanting a little more fun with there car
