Instructions were very vague but not hard to figure out. There is a left and right side if I remember correctly. Direct bolt in. Now I can jack the car up with out fear of damaging rocker panel. Recommend using a low profile floor jack.

This "low-profile" rail kit fits perfectly with the bolts already present next to the pinch welds. As someone stated in the reviews, you only have to cut down or cut off the protruding sealant beads at the front of the rails so that they will position flat against the bottom of the unibody. They barely protrude below the pinch welds so although they're red in color, you can barely see it as it's about flush with the pinch welds, so it will take all of the load when you're jacking the vehicle up or placing jack stands underneath. Unlike some reviews, these rails arrived in perfect condition; no scratches, no chipped paint, etc. The paint looks very durable and I'm very happy with it. Be sure to put blue threadlocker (that's the "removeable" type, not the red one which is "permanent") on the threads of the bolts so they stay in place. I torqued them to about 40 lb./ft. which is about what they were before removing them to install the rails.

The frame rails fit perfectly on my 2018 Mustang and sit in the perfect position for jacking up your car. When installing, note that one is longer than the other and the side with the oblong holes faces the front of your vehicle.
