Looked to be a genuine BMW part from York, PA BMW dealer. The box shipped USPS first class parcel and was slightly damaged, but the molding was OK.It was very difficult to get the old molding out. Took 15-20 mins to get the metal track ups and out. I had to use a pair of micro needle nose pliers and some wire cutting pliers to snip it and then it pulled right out.Installation took about 10 mins. I started both ends on the windshield about 8 inches from the side of the windshield and slid them outward. I used a paint can opener that looks like a screwdriver with a flat blunt end to seat the seal.

The product was is great, fit my 2010 BMW 528i perfectly. Took about 20 minutes and was not difficult to install at all.

Worked perfectly and very easy to install. My 2010 535i looks like new after replacing the old dry rotted molding. I definitely recommend this product.

2006 525i - the hardest part was removing what was left of the old seal. Once it id out, clean the channel, the top of glass and the edge of roof before putting new seal in. Get it started on one end and use a rubber mallet to set it in.

This fits my 07 M5 perfectly. Good as new. Took 10 minutes to install. Make sure you clean the glass well. Start with a straight razor blade then window cleaner. Also use some compressed air to blow away any dust.

This is a factory BMW part in the original wrapper. Just install with small hand tools/interior trim tool and you have saved $$$ over having shop do it. Just be careful, clean the area well after removing old trim strip and do it on a sunny day so everything is pliable and easy to shape into place. looks great!

part was installed.workmanship okmolding part is of inferior quality, a common problem of all bmw molding.i know because i had it replaced 4 years ago.
