The 7-1/2 gets my dingy up on a plane with a significant heavier load than the 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 stock propeller, although I lost about 5 kts of top end speed. I keep both propellers close to each other and us a large SS split ring to hold on the propeller nut so I can switch depending on my passenger.
