Fit my trolling seat perfectly. Only fly in the ointment was it came with 5 mounting screws loose in the package. It was missing the 6th one. Luckily I have enough spares hanging around that I was able to find an appropriate screw.The plates are thick, but not especially heavy, and not being steel will be much less prone to corrosion. The height is a comfortable one for me, and I will get much enjoyment out of the shaft and seat combo.Can recommend - I could have probably gotten the seller to ship me the missing hardware, but wanted to install it right away.

It is plastic and very thin metal. It does not feel sturdy at all. I have not broke it yet but I assume it will eventually break. It does function and it did match the seat surfaces.
