Originally designed for boats. Its 13 inch X 78 inch wide and 5mm thick with self-adhesive backing. But can be used in so many DIY projects just cut to size as needed. Its more like felt than carpet but does the job from boat to cat pole to protect walls from scratches from heavy gym gear like lat bars in my case.

Good quality carpet, durable and allows the boat to slide easily when wet. when dry the boat stays put well. the carpet dries fast and does not hold water.DO NOT Trust the adhesive to hold it to your boards, it will not hold. Use some staples to secure the edges. The adhesive is great for keeping everything where you need it before stapling though. it also keeps the carpet from being loose from not stretching the fabric before stapling down.

I am building a custom trailer to hold a small inflatable pontoon boat and a couple of kayaks. I stapled this material to lumber to provide a soft, non-marring surface that will be in contact with my watercraft. It appears to be of high quality, but hasn't been installed and out in the weather long enough to judge its environmental durability. But it looks like it will work great so far. I will update my review if anything changes.

it feels like felt to me. It was easy to install and cut down to size. It works great on my trailer.

I haven't used the boat since I installed the carpet, but so far it seems like a good product. It's easy to install on a clean surface, and the adhesive backing makes it a lot cleaner to install than a spray or brush-on adhesive.

I had absolutely zero intentions on using these for a boat. I needed something in my work van to cushion under tools and kits in back of the van to keep things from bouncing around. Also to cushion the bottom of the kits I take in customers homes. Last thing I want is to leave a scratch on somebody's counter or table.Being made for the random weather and pretty tough, I believe it will hold up for years.It's not too difficult to cut to size and the tape side is quite strong. I feel very comfortable knowing this is the absolute PERFECT material for what I needed.As a bonus it's not flattering as I carry everything and driving around.100% happy!!Thank you so much!

Though this is intended for boat trailers, I’m using this as a liner for the steps to my garage. They function perfectly in this use case and I love how durable they feel under the feet. Cutting this roll into smaller sizes was no problem. This is truly a mult-purpose product and I am glad I got it!

I use this to replace the non-slip tape on my small RV running boards and man-door threshold. Easy to cut and apply. Holds up nicely. Provides a little bit of a surface to wipe shoes before entering. I love the fact this is so durable and know I’ll have loads of other uses for the amount I’ve got left
