I bought it for my Mercruiser with the Alpha Gen II outdrive. I looked at way too many of these trying to figure out which one was correct. I failed, the gauge works perfectly in regards to the position of the outdrive, but its exactly backwards for mercruiser. I read a few forums and I think this gauge was meant for an OMC. For 16 bucks a decent deal. Guess I could send it back and get one that is oreinted correctly but the season is almost over so I just flipped it in the dash so the needle is correct with the outdrive, just have to ignore words up and down.
