Our marine grade boat trailer straps measures 2 inches wide by 20 feet long woven polyester webbing and the zinc coated winch hook has a spring closure for added security. Working Load of 3500 lbs and Break Strength of 12000 lbs.

So the strap that came with my brand new winch BLEW apart on the boat ramp when we were taking the boat out of the lake... I had to thread the strap through the eye and tie it on to get the boat all the way up on the trailer. This strap appears to be much higher quality than the old one in the picture. I have no idea why gloves were included with the strap... Anyway installation was as easy as any other strap. Weather did not allow us to put the boat in so a full test will come later but this strap should be good base on how thick it is vs the one that blew apart.

I have a 20-foot boat, and I noticed that the wench strap was starting to fray and needed to be replaced right away. I got this strap and noticed right away how well it was made. The stitching on the strap with the hook end was sewn so much, I'm sure it will never fail on me. The wench strap is probably the most important thing on a trailer, and it should be the best one you can get, and this one satisfies that need. It is very thick and durable, and the hook is rust resistant. When I put the strap on the wench, it fit perfectly and was easy to do. It functions very well as it has no problem pulling the heavy boat on to the trailer. I suspect I'll never have to get another strap because this one is made so well and is even resistant to sun damage making it a good value for the money.

Strap seems to be of good quality, as is hook. I'm replacing the 20 year old winch strap on my trailer. I'm only using it on a 12' runabout, so not really worried about strength of the strap or the stretch.

I am very happy with this ratchet strap boat winch with hook securing strap for use with a 2” ratchet strap ratchet. After removing the strap from the packaging, I immediately noted the good build quality. The hook is very heavy, and the retracting carabiner mechanism works well. The stitching seems to be good, tight even stitches, and durable. The entire strap part seems very heavy duty. I would feel comfortable using this for securing loads or to winch a boat onto a trailer. It could even be good for small vehicle recovery like golf carts, 4x4s, zero-turn, etc.Another great aspect of the item is the included gloves! While they’re not the best quality, they’ll last long enough for a couple of uses, and they’re a nice touch. After just two long days of work in the fields, the rubber on the fingers of the red work gloves started to peel off. Nonetheless, they’re still a great addition to the package, and they do work, even if they only last a week. Overall, considering the good quality and included pair of work gloves, I would consider this ratchet strap (strap and hook only) a good value.

I'm pleased with this boat trailer winch strap. I ordered it to replace the old strap on my pontoon boat trailer, that was compromised with UV damage and some rotting. The strap was a direct replacement and it seems to be very strong and well-made. The hook is heavy and solid. I feel better knowing that I no longer have to worry about my winch strap potentially breaking due to age and wear. This is a good replacement and I trust it to keep my boat secure. I think it's a good buy for the money - I'd buy it again.Recommended.
