My boat bow would bounce some when trailering even with the winch strap as tight as it would go. This strap holds it down very well.

buckle loosens off with the least bit of pressure. couldn't use it . Spend extra and buy a ratcheting turnbuckle.

Great product and super easy to remove when launching. Holds my 17ft glastron down with no issues. If you don't know how to thred these straps you may have to look it up. The strap does not come threaded properly. Overall great product and price was excellent!

Does what it says, and keeps my boat from bouncing on the trailer when on the road. The cam buckle could be a bit more robustly made (thicker steel and rivets) for my preference, but it should hold up with proper care. For the price, this was an excellent investment.

Bought this last week before a long drive and needed something to stabilize the bow on my trailer. This worked great. Very easy to use. It has a loop at each end so you can use the loop on the free end to pull down to tighten it. Now my bow is tight as heck and doesn't bounce one bit. The only weird thing was when I got it I actually had to rethread the straps to use it as they were not threaded correctly. I tried using it right out of the package and it was impossible. Once I threaded it correctly, it tightens great.

I guess this is just made for something with more clearance from trailer to bow eye. On my Seadoo, if I go eye to trailer straight down there's no way to tighten it - the space between hook and buckle is too long. I had to wrap the loops much further forward - essentially eliminating the benefit of an extra tie down.

Worthless in my situation.. Tracker boat.. even if I get enough room to lock it down... I can pull against clamp till it slips. If my Winch would let loose, I am not trusting my boat to this... it is cheap enough that it is no big loss and I will be able to find some use for it, even if it is as a backup/

Bought 2 of these safety straps, one for my bass boat and one for my V bottom aluminum. The straps serve their purpose, and are easy to install and use. Good product.
