Yes! This strap is perfect for my son's viola. He has to transport his instrument to and from school every single day, along with his heavy backpack.

It's not great, but it does the job. The rubber "cushion" floats a bit, and doesn't like to stay in place. Decide if you want this one (no swivel) or the one with the swivel before you buy. Also, I think one is longer than the other, so keep that in mind. I use two single straps instead of the "backpack" strap they sell.

The strap is long and adjustable to my viola case and slings over my back perfectly. There is a nice sliding rubber shoulder pad so the strap doesn't dig into your shoulder and keeps it comfortable.Very durable and easy to attach.

i like the plastic pad on this strap, but the clips that attach the strap to my violin case do not swivel, so they are always getting twisted.

I bought one for my son's violin case. It's an excellent and sturdy strap. This will help a kid that walks to school or rides the bus. I highly recommend.
