These were perfect replacements for the old hardware that has fallen off my drum over the years. Now, I have a re-vitalized incarnation of an old favorite instrument, and am once again a happy player of this great frame drum!

I rated these tuners okay because the mechanism part works fine with some tweaking. I had one out of 10 that almost cross-threaded but it worked out once tension was applied. The two "screws" which go through the tuner into the bodhran are actually fine threaded bolts. I make bodhrans and the bolts didn't hold well. I drilled a counter sunk hole on the mechanism where the screw goes in and used 3/8 inch wood screws instead. Those held fine. Put a little liquid wrench or silicone liquid on the tuner threads and they worked out well.
