I find this chalk is easily removed from fabric. The chalk may break a bit easily, but to me it is worth using. I don't have to worry about it staining fabric.

The lead is nice and love the colors just wish there were more than three pieces in container.

I do a lot of quilting. This poem has been a godsend in marking my quilt as it is on a black background. A dry magic eraser removes it very easily. The chalk also comes in colors for light colored fabrics .

LOVE this chalk pencil and colored refills!! It is very thin and perfect for marking quilting lines on fabric. Because it’s chalk it comes right off. Works much better than other chalk because the marks are very thin. LOVE it!

It is bright enough to see, but so far it washed out easily. Only drawback is that it's pricey. But it is a lifesaver for a quilter who wouldn't know a quarter inch seam if it bit her on the nose!
