Works as advertised. I was able to fletch three arrows in as many minuets. This tool is effective.

Very impressed with this tool. Wanted a Bitzenberger, but didn’t wanna pay $100+. This thing works exactly the same, just made of plastic vs metal. Fletches arrows perfectly

I have done about 6 arrows so far with a left helical offset with this jig. As long as you don't rush the glue, it will work great. I have more arrows to do but I am happy with this jig for the price, I won't be doing hundreds of arrows in a year and I believe this is what I need for my hobby. No regrets on this purchase. It would be great if they offered the glue and jig together as a package though, I bought the glue from Lancaster Archery which had it cheaper than what I found on Amazon.

The jig works great, but I need instructions to change from 3 fletch to 4 fletch and adjust the 3 fletch arrows. There was no instructions in the box. I need the instructions. Please

Form many years I owned and used another type of fletching jig which features three feather holders to fletch an entire arrow at once. I always had trouble with alignment and the individual feather holders (they can't be described as clamps), while made of a stiff plastic, were the source on my difficulty. The design, while clever, worked well enough when it was new, but over twenty years the plastic caps holding it together seem to have relaxed. The Bohning jig works. The magnetic clamping and alignment surface holds the feather in the right place with the right pressure on the shaft to create a very good glue bond. The adjustments for positioning the feather on different diameter shafts are easy to make and well designed for accuracy. Having returned to archery and to making and maintaining my equipment again after many year, I am very pleased with this device. And I like the fact that it comes from my favorite part of northern Michigan.

You can misalign it easily if you're not careful.

I use feather fletching and had to hold down the clamp, to keep the feather on the arrow. If designed with tension clamps on the front and back, it would be a 5/5but other then that, it's well constructed.

Most arrow makers agree that the Bitzenburger fletching jig is the best jig you can buy. It's solid, highly adjustable, and once dialed in, very easy to use. It also runs $85 or more. Those of us who aren't do a high volume of arrows, or who need something just for repair, or who are just starting out, or are a budget, could use something cheaper. The Bohning Pro Class is molded plastic, but it's very solid, well made, easy to use, and it costs about a third of what the Bitzenburger costs. It's almost as adjustable, too. I have both left and right clamps for mine, and I can quickly set it up for straight or helical fletching with either. You have to be a bit more careful with excess glue with the Bohning, as it will stick to the clamp, and it's not as rugged as the Bitzenburger, but with reasonable care it'll last a long time. If you've got the budget for a Bitzenburger, that's still the way to go. But if you're looking for a more affordable jig that's almost as good, the Bohning Pro is an excellent choice.

I shoot traditional archery on a longbow I made and arrows that work well for this are hard to come by and very expensive. I decided to make arrows. This product was exactly what I needed to make beautiful arrows that work well. The jig is very simple to use but it does take some time to set it up exactly. I think it took 4 arrows before I got the placement correct and figured out exactly where the starting point was because the instructions are not the most helpful. In fact the instructions that come with it are basically "put arrow in jig, make arrow". The price of this item makes it well worth the effort to set up but before you just have it go to youtube and watch a few videos about it. Apparently many of the owners of this jig ran into similiar problems and have made very helpful videos to help out. Buy this and you wont regret it once you get an arrow or two sitting in your quiver looking amazing.

I like this jig it helps me make sure I am lining up the fletches in the same location each time. I did not really know what the difference was between left helical and straight when I bought it but i'm glad I got the left helical version. This basically just puts a little twist in the fletch and makes it spiral more when in flight.
