It was very well packaged to avoid damage. Easy to assemble. The lamp height is adjustable, so yes the cord is long, but you just pull it through the bottom to make it shorter if need be. The base is very sturdy, but the whole thing does lean because the pole itself isn’t that sturdy. Biggest pet peeve is they put a sticker on the pole which is hard to get off. Spent more time on the sticker than the assembly.

Looks good. Was an absolute nightmare to put together. It says easy installation, but it was the complete opposite. Cheap so I guess if you’re willing to put in the sweat to put it together, it’s worth it. Remote works fine the first day at least.

Quite possibly the worst directions and install process I have ever come across. The cord is way too long, yet to adjust it from the inside you must take out this plastic “clamp” that allows for rod extension. However, the clamp does not come out, nor is there any easy way to take it out. Other online reviews state people had to pry it out for over an hour often ruining the poles in the process. Some others stated they couldn’t even put it together at all and were forced to return it. I am baffled that these reviews are not here on the Amazon reviews and wondering how they are all gone from Amazon but present all over the internet… Spend a few extra dollars and get a better brand/quality.

Styling is great. However def the assembly is cumbersome as the prethreadwd cord as you assemble gets all twisted up and cannot easily pull out to adjust so it makes it twice as long maybe 3 x as long to assemble. No batteries with remote which is very very thin plastic one drop and I fear will break. But has the foot pedal if have in spot they will allow. I got on sale 50% off so for price I paid and perfect for my styling ….. AND. A nice bright & soft light for reading ….. great deal. If this would have been full price … def not worth that $ tag. Overall happy with style and praying the twisted up cord inside doesn’t cause issue ….. maybe I’ll add the warranty on this cheapy ,,,, 🤗🤗
