Case slightly broken but thats not a big deal. All the washers and nutss are missing making them unusable for mounting.

I use these on one of my projects and it really made a good difference they work well I used it with an Arduino had no problems. It made the project look that much more professional the dials are well built

I installed 4 of these onto a circuit-board and soldered them into place, all 4 failed from whatI expect due to the heat applied soldering them in. I tried two more and they also did notsurvive the soldering. I have been in electronics for almost 45 years and have never had apotentiometer fail from the soldering process. I used low heat and 50/50 solder whichshould not have been a problem. I tinned some small 20 gauge wire and soldered it to theleads and they survived but the heat was applied for less than a second for each pin. Installingthem on a double sided circuit board requires more than a second maybe 2 or 3 for each pin.I tested them before installing them so I know they were good at that point, a second testafter soldering showed the failure.
