The cars won't stay on the track. The track comes apart easily and it broke the first couple of times my son played with it.

I got this so my young grandson and I could enjoy it. We never had the chance as one of the two cars was broken. The instructions were sparse and very Small print.The car that did work, moved quite fast and it probably would have beentoo old for my 4 year old .guy, smart as he is.Returned it since a one car race is sort of dull.

My only complaint is that the battery compartment loosely loads the batteries. I had to rig it to make the batteries stay in place. Otherwise, every time my children would bump it or pick it up, I had to unscrew the battery box and reset the batteries.

I got this for my 4 year old grandson. He loves it. It's nothing fancy but it's just like the tracks I had growing up. It's given us hours of fun and fulfilled his need for speed.

I'm so sorry I ordered this too soon before my son's birthday and now the time to return has expired. Upon unpacking and assembling this track I found that the AA batteries are extremely loose and do not fit the battery pack. There was not enough contact to even get this track moving, but in my attempt to make it work just once (it never did) one of the batteries exploded and battery acid leaked on to my finger from which Instill have pain blisters and swelling 3 weeks later. Just grateful my son was not right there helping as usual!!! EXTREMELY DANGEROUS DO NOT BUY!!!!!

This item should be taken off amazon. Very poorly made. The battery compartment is a joke. The batteries have no way of staying together. I can’t believe this passed inspection.
