BOMEI PACK High Temperature Resistant Tape
Polyimide film tape, single-sided coated high-performance silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive can be used in the electrical and electronic industry for the higher requirements of H-class motor and transformer coil insulation wrapping, high-temperature coil end wrapping fixed, temperature measurement RTD protection, capacitance and wire entanglement and other bonding insulation in high-temperature working conditions.

Seems to be fine so far. 8" is probably wider than most people doing random home projects will need, definitely more than I need for most things. When most of my polyimide tapes are fairly narrow it is convenient to have some I can cut down to whatever size when I need something bigger or unusual in shape. An extra step but definitely better than trying to use a bunch of narrow strips.

Full Disclosure: I received this product at no cost for evaluation through Amazon Vine program.This tape is beautiful when it is on the roll. When you peel it off, it has an amber/yellow cast.The adhesive is strong, and it is very thin, but very tear resistant. Dimensionally stable (it does not stretch.)I just knock one star off because it is extremely difficult to get it off the roll.
