Your cart is empty.A member of the geranium family, Citronella is a great patio plant, especially in containers. Go easy on the fertilizer, because too much nitrogen can reduce the fragrance of the leaves. Although the oil from crushed leaves may have some ability to discourage mosquitoes, the plants alone are grown more for their citrus scent than as a mosquito repellent. Place citronella where you can brush against the leaves as you walk by, or in a pot where you can rub the leaves to enjoy their fragrance. Plants are vigorous growers and drought tolerant. Be sure to move indoors before frost.

Amazing healthy looking plants! I only wish your shipper knew what the arrow on the box pointing up to show which end to keep upright to avoid turning the plants upside down, meant so the box didn't end up sideways outside my door! May want to consider another shipper besides UPS! But thanks for the lovely plants!

Healthy and good sized. I love how carefully they are packaged. The box itself was a bit mangled, but the interior packaging does a good job protecting the plants. I ordered two, and they look good. Soil was a bit dry, but the plants look good…
