I make my own salt water rigs. Stores only offer a few different kinds but if you fish from piers, the shore or a boat you need to have 8 or 9 kinds of rigs to catch the fish that are running. Pompano, Gray Trout, Specs, Tarpon, Drum, Flounder, Spot, Croaker, Whiting etc. all feed a little differently. These are part of the solution.

A little "kinky", but well made and work very well. Once a line gets a little bend in it, it is impossible to straighten out. In my case, that means its done and has to be replaced. But the value is excellent with these.

I like these leaders as they are good quality, reasonable in cost and easy to use. The easy part is that they don't kink as much like some other brands do and have a really nice strong wrapped loop on either end. Like some fisherman I do cut off the small clips/swivel at either end and just run the leader through the hook loop and a MUCH stronger swivel unit because you just never know what you might hook when beach fishing. its really not that uncommon to hook 5ft sharks or 80lb stingrays where I surf fish. This leader handles them fine (with the correct drag setting of course) and I have confidence in the Boone brand name. Now it would be nice if they did beef up their clips/swivels some but I would probably just cut those off as well lol. I heartily recommend these (bare) leaders to anyone for those big toothy critters out there. Attached is my latest catch off OC MD last week using these leaders, a nice 5ft sandbar shark. Great fun to pull in.M

These fishing leaders were exactly as described by the seller. I purchased these on Amazon because they weren't available locally (and fishing is a big deal were we live). These are a good quality and an excellent price. I would definitely order these again.
