These studs work really well in my boots. I drilled small holes & hand screwed the studs into my boots. They grip on ice really well. I wish I would have found these years ago.I had 1 defective stud in the packet. Please send me a replacement so I could feel good about buying more.

I like these a lot, the traction they provide is excellent. They seem to have some quality control issues. However, they supplied extra studs so I still received what I paid for. Overall I'm very happy with them.

Had for a year now they are the best gripping studs I’ve had - far more traction then the attachables. Walk on glazed ice with full traction. Only slippage happens if there is enough build up of sludge or snow on top of the ice that the studs can’t reach the ice - but you’d need some very lengthy studs to reach such covered ice and you would be unstable 5 stars

With the over dollar apiece, this is very poor quality control. I ordered 80 p's about 15. It's defected.

I put these on a pair of pacs last night and they seem solid well-made, and surprisingly sharp. There were even 4 extra studs in the bag. The driver bit that is included was crap, but a regular hex head bit would have worked fine, this one did the job though. I think these will do the job well and allow me to haul firewood up the ramp to the house and get around on the ice we seem to have 5 or 6 months of the year.
