The head that is provided for the blade attachment broke in half after three times. Line also breaks very easily. Would not recommend this product

Great deal for string replacement. I wanted to try the blades - it looks like a game changer! But the tab broke off as it snapped into place on the weed whacked head. I’m ordering one more to see if I have better results. It would be great if I could be sent a replacement for the cover that snapped a tab off.

Make sure that you read the description well because it is not for all models and the pins are off just enough to make a difference.

These work well for my Ryobi trimmer. Maybe not as good as the manufacturer's, but you get a lot of parts for the price, so if they wear faster than the MFG part, they are still a good value.The spools work as well as the MFG parts and since you get 8, you don't have to deal with re-wrapping an empty spool. The blades seem a little lighter than the MFG, but you get 6 of them and they have metal eyelets for the drive point and spare hardware, so again, good value.

Really like my other Ryobi tools, but the auto-feed feature on their weedeaters is bad design. Who needs more line every single time they stop?Needed this for the hundreds of oak seedlings that pop up amongst other plantings after big acorn years. Perfect! Way more effective than string, powers through woody stems on low setting, with less noise and vibration! [take note of counterbalance weight during installation] *New discovery!: add 12-14 softair BBs into unit before snapping into place. They'll redistribute and self-balance, lessening vibration.Metal grommet reinforced hole is a plus vs other models, and blades showed minimal wear after use. Installed one upside-down to compare performance; no difference, so I'll simply flip them both over to extend lifespan once dulled.Spools were as good if not better than OEM, but I doubt I'll go back to string. (They do lock in okay to bypass the autofeed.) Bought others for comparison, but these blades won the day!
