About this item

  • PAD CRASHER TECHNIQUE: Hollow-body frog perfect for throwing in the slop and weeds
  • BODY CONSTRUCTION: Body is structured enough to keep the bait 100% weedless to come over and across sloppy weedbeds, yet soft enough to ensure a solid hookset with a bass strikes
  • TOPWATER LURE: Mocks the frog apperance for hungry topwater bass eaters
  • HOOK STRUCTURE: Features a super-strong double hook and spinnerbait-style legs
  • INCLUDES: 1 Pad Crasher fishing lure

The Pad Crasher's soft plastic is just the right consistency to ensure solid, consistent hook-ups while remaining weed- and snag-free. The belly features "chines" that make "walking the frog" easy in open water, and it's just the right weight for pulling over slop or through the pads for big bass. Realistic decoration schemes and adjustable spinnerbait-style legs seal the deal for big bass. SPECIES: All species of Bass. HOOKS: 2/0 Double.

I love these pad crasher minis! They are a little more of a finesse frog and I believe they work better for more pressured areas. I think fish see a lot of the bigger style frogs or poppin frogs. These ones don't make as much of a disturbance in the water but are still easy to walk or work however you'd like. Very sharp hooks make for great hook sets.

Despite its mini size, it is very versatile and has amazing quality! Perfect for top water bass fishing!

Booyah frogs are my preferred frog. I have purchased off brands and upon receiving them I have sent them back. Not worth saving a couple of bucks. Bite the bullet and buy the best.

I've only used this frog one day. Both in the morning and evening. So far so good. Had one very large bass hit it 3x in a few seconds. Only landed one out of about a 10 or so bites but that is probably me more than the lure. It seems if u set the hook too early, u rip it out of their mouth, too late and they spit it out. Haven't found the sweet spot yet. But the lure has held up durability wise so far and doesn't fill up with water after every cast which is nice. Only after a hit do I have to squeeze the water out which is no big deal.

I like these because they are smaller and easier for the bass to inhale. They are more durable than live target brands and definitely a lot cheaper. The live target ones look a bit nicer, but not worth the money difference due to durability.

This is only the second frog I have added to my arsenal. I like to bass fish but I am not hardcore; I don't even have a boat. I usually shore fish a pond in my parents' neighborhood and have been pretty successful in the last couple years. After my first frog I knew I was hooked. You can't just tie one on any old time of the day and expect results, but if you throw one in the magic hour at twilight (or at dawn) the bass just can't resist. I opted for the black and silver cricket frog because I know we have native species that look just like it and I felt the combination of dark/bright would be a good combo for the stained water of the pond.I gave this frog 4 stars because it has good features. The hook points are laser sharp. The body seems durable enough, though time will tell. I like that they put a drain hole in the back end of it because the other frog I have (different brand) fills up with water and it sits weird in the water if you don't squeeze it out. The only concern I have for this frog is the hook points don't rest against the body like my other frog. It leads me to believe it could get hung up in the weeds if you take a bad cast or something. That said, I'm normally fishing up along the shore and in open water with mine so it shouldn't be an issue. Can't wait to get out there and throw it!
