I started shooting trap a year ago and Bore Tech Shotgun Blend and Chameleon Gel are the only cleanersI've ever used in my shotguns. I have using the combination of Bore Tech Eliminator, Chameleon Gel and Friction Guard on my rifles for years and have had nothing but excellent results from these products. So when it came to cleaning my shotguns I just stuck with Bore Tech products and have never had any issues.

I was sceptical of this product but thought I would try it. It was recommended by an associate. If you follow the instructions it will do a great job. Works best if you have jags that do not react with the solvent. I use plastic. jags

I've tried for several years to get 100% of the gunk off the inside of my 590 A1 barrel. There was always build up right at the forcing cone. I tried petty much all the commercially available cleaners as well as "Ed's Red". I would put a cork in one end of the barrel (Angels Envy bourbon corks work best) and then I would fill the barrel with solvent and let it soak. I would periodically run a brass tornado brush down the bore. I would let the solvent soak for up to 24 hours and when I poured out the solvent and removed the cork and ran several patches thru the barrel, I would still have plastic wadding adhered to the barrel. The Angles Envy helped alleviate the frustration at not achieving a perfect barrel.I spotted this bore tech shotgun blend and figured I would give it a try. I called bore tech before I purchased the cleaner and l was assured that the bore tech "surfactant" and patience would be all I needed.I followed the directions, except for soaking a bore mop and leaving it in the barrel right where the forcing cone was. I ran a torpedo thru the barrel about every 30 minutes and followed with a solvent soaked patch. After that, I would re-insert the wet mop and let it soak. After 3 hours and a few additional passes with the torpedo, I was SHOCKED to see I had a bore that looked like new. I'm impressed. The Angels Envy tasted better as well. This stuff is expensive (both the bore tech and the bourbon) but they both work. Thanks. The temperature was 42 degrees F when I did this. If it worked this well at this temp, I can only imagine how well it would work if I warmed up the barrel.

I thought I'd give this a try since cleaning lead deposits and plastic deposits from shotgun barrels and especailly choke tubes is cumbersome. Maybe I got a bottle with water in it, but the clear fluid does not clean anything out of my barrels. Hoppe's No.9, Casey Birchwood lead remover cloths and lapping compound (if needed) are still the best to clean barrels and chokes. This stuff doesn't work.

I shoot a lot of trap and this is the only product that has been able to get my bore factory bright. Removes plastic fouling from shotshells with ease turning an hour long cleaning into a 15 minute affair.

Somewhat disappointed by thus product. It does the job but not as good as others I have tried.

I am a natural skeptic, so when a product makes claims well you know but this stuff is the bomb.I used it as directed and all of yuck just disappeared. The inside of the barrel is spotless. The gas ports and piston parts cleaned up just as easy.I will definitely purchase this product again.
