I bought thes as an experiment to use as lacing needles for 1/4 kidskin lace. They turned out to be sturdier and easier to use than conventional leather lacing needles. I have since used them for lacing of other widths and types of leather. Once you try them, you'll never want to go back to leather lacing needles.
