Borla TURBO and TURBO-XL mufflers are designed for supreme street performance, featuring high quality austenitic stainless steel, all-welded construction and more for increased horsepower and torque. Independent tests prove maximum flow capability. This oval style muffler features an inlet diameter of 3 inches and a dual outlet with a diameter of 2.5 inches. It also has a case size of 19 inches x 5.5 inches x 10.25 inches.

I tried out this Borla Pro XS. I liked the deep response accelerating onto the freeway on ramp, but that was the only advantage I'll give the Borla Pro XS, and I had to have the windows rolled down to hear some of the rumble. It's unnoticeable with the windows rolled up in the morning on the way to work. Borla is a lot quieter than Magniflow 12265 and Flow Master 10 at cold start and Idling. I'm alot happier with the Magniflow. I know Borla is built for better performance but my car responded and sounded alot better with the Magniflow.

I had a muffler shop install this Borla 40474 on my 2021 BMW X3 30i and am very pleased with the results. Loud 4-cylinder exhausts are not my thing and this gave me what I was looking for. It has a very low rumble at startup and in the lower RPM's and stays pretty quiet at higher speeds. I did remove the resonator later and the sound didn't get much louder but now it makes nice subtle burbles.

Way better than the transverse magnaflow muffler. It's definitely worth the extra $100.

I bought this muffler thinking it would have an aggressive exhaust note with my 3800 sc series III engine and boy was I dissapointed!
