The fine tradition of the Bormioli Rocco Group coincides with the very history of glass: the first glassworks was established in Parma in 1825. The company has always demonstrated a great drive to pioneer innovation: in machinery, materials and design. Over the years it has developed a special talent, that of combining time-honoured craftsmanship and the passion of master glassmakers with modern industrial processes. Bormioli Rocco is the leading company in its sector in Italy and a great ambassador of the Made in Italy label on international markets. Respect for tradition, passion for good taste and constant research and innovation are Bormioli Rocco's milestones to create products that meet the needs of the consumers. For Bormioli Rocco the respect for the enviroment; it's a must so its entire manufacturing process is oriented towards a mission of social and enviromental responsibility.

This is a perfect smaller, lighter pitcher than the other Italian one I purchased and it is perfect for keeping on my desk to refill my coffee or tea/iced tea without getting up to go to the kitchen each time I need a refill. This company makes GREAT glass products that I cherish.

Excellent product. Well designed and expertly made. Top quality glass. Balances nicely in the hand and pours without dribbling. Note that it will not hold a full bag of milk (the size used in Ontario Canada). Other than that, a great product.

Not even big enough to fill a one liter milk bag that is 33.8oz.

Bought this to keep ice water in the refrigerator. It’s high quality glass, made in Italy and the handle is very sturdy and easy to hold. Love it.

sturdy, but doesn't pour well. Dribbles down every time I pour it. I have to dry the table.

The Bormioli Rocco Gelo Jug with Red Lid, 41-Ounce, is really good and perfect for storing liquids in the fridge. Yes, it does dribble a bit, but if you learn to pour it slowly, it won’t spill. The benefits of using glass far outweigh any minor dribbles. Glass is inert and doesn’t leach chemicals, so you avoid microplastics in your drink. Overall, I highly recommend this jug for a healthier option.

Bought this jug for orange juice. It's very solid and fits in the fridge without taking up a lot of room. The only thing that I don't like is that after you pour you get a dribble down the front of the jug and you have to clean it with a wet towel before putting it back in the fridge . It doesn't seem to matter if you pour with the lid on or off. Other than that it's a great jug

I LOVE the design of this jug and the handle is comfy to use. Too bad the top leaks when you're pouring. Just pour without the top on

Carafe is of quality glass and great size and design. Lid needs redesigned; it leaks every time I pour.

I bought three of these to accommodate a four-litre of milk, as my nine-year-old was having trouble lifting a 4-litre jug. Great quality, easy to clean and sturdy. I have washed them both in the dishwasher and by hand, and they always come clean. Very happy.

I bought this to make iced tea in and it handles hot/boiling water just fine. It is solid and holds about a quart/litre. The top is plastic and it isn't airtight, but I knew that before I purchased it. I wouldn't recommend pouring with it on though as it tends to dribble out the edges if held at too steep an angle. The handle is really close to the jug, so unless you have small and/or thin hands (I do) or are a child, it is going to be difficult to hold/pour. Despite the things I don't like about it I would buy another one.

... I don't want to hurt this little guy's feelings. He is a cute fella, a sturdy fella, and I love looking at him in my refrigerator or on my counter or wherever he may be resting. My hand is small, so I have no problem with his arm (handle!), and pouring is oddly fun for some reason. The only problem I have with this little guy is that when I shake him (my homemade almond milk needs a good shake to wake it up), he spits up a little around his lid, and makes a small mess. It's not a TERRIBLE thing, but it's annoying. It's not annoying enough to return him, because I don't want to hurt his feelings, and, as I said, he's very cute. I'd recommend this pitcher if you don't plan to shake the contents. The glass is wonderfully thick, the size is just right, and he's quite good-looking.
