I have used these bags for 2 years now for fairly heavy-duty use in a composting toilet and have had zero issues. They fit my toilet perfectly - a Separett Tiny - with some room to spare, so that part of the bag wraps around the can, unused, to allow for easy tying shut later. Once tied shut the odor is not noticeable. These are also great to have on hand for emergencies.My only complaint is that they are fairly thin, so could be punctured by a sharp object. I have not had any rip, but if they made a thicker version I would buy it in a heartbeat for extra security.

These 5.2 Gallon bags seal odors very very well! They will fit both a 5 gallon and 6 gallon bucket. I use them for a camping toilet. I place a pool noodle around the top edge of the bucket for comfort when sitting on and then pull the bag up and over the pool noodle so each user sits on a clean bag. If you cut the pool noodle in half, it will fit in the bucket during storage. Also, a 6 gallon bucket is the same height as a quality toilet.Note: this review is for the 5.2 gallon size, I also tried one size smaller, which is the XL and it is way too small and will not fit a 5 or 6 gallon bucket. But the XL size may be good if you want to double bag, in other words, put the 5.2 gallon inside of the XL.

I camp with a telescoping porta-potty. These work great to store my waste in until I can dispose of it. They do not allow the smell to exacape!! Love these. Worth every penny.

These things are phenomenal at odor blocking and they are stretchy but very sturdy. We empty our cat litter pans into them to dispose in the trash can. Even baking in the can under the HOTTTTT Texas summer heat no odor escapes. Our sanitation crew loves us now!

These are excellent doing exactly as the description describes. However, these are impossible to get out one at a time. They are difficult to get them out. Together one is impossible. The extra that come out cannotgo back inside and are so light and slippery they are impossible to stack. Love these but wish they could make the box system work better to get the bags out - one at a time!

This product does what it promises to do: keep stinky contents from ever smelling. Even sitting in a trashcan in hot summer time, smells don't escape from these bags. The only thing I disagree with is that the bags don't have an odor of their own. It's not very strong, and it's not very obnoxious, but the inside of the bag does have a slightly nauseating odor. In spite of that, these bags are worth buying.
