I helped out my friend who had a Chevy venture and the code said the post cat O2 sensor was bad so we ordered this and swapped it out. Now the code is gone and he said the gas mileage also improved. So I’m happy to help and this was affordable.

Purchased this for my 1998 Pontiac WS-6 Trans Am with LS engine in it. Installed Speed Engineering Headers and the front 2 sensor locations require the heated style sensors, the rear 2 behind the cats do not need the heating element. So you will spend some more for the heated ones but car wont run right if you get the non heated sensors. These are made very well, the wires are in a nice heat shield and are about a foot long or so vs. others with maybe 2-3-4 inches of wires. Rather have longer wires and zip tie them up than short stubby wires and need extension harnesses to get them connected. Provide good readings and cure clogged and soot packed O2 sensors that give false readings. They have anti-seize on the threads of the sensors which is a big help to keep them from rusting in place. Hope this review helps you and good luck with your auto exhaust and o2 sensor projects.

I was having car trouble and suspected that my O2 sensors were not allowing the ECM to display the correct codes. So I went with Bosch and purchased both the upstream and downstream for my vehicle from Amazon. This unit serves as they downstream. When I received the items the packaging appeared in new condition. The sensors were also packed as such. So I proceeded with installation. An hour and a test drive later the job was done. The ECM was seeing the sensor, so I assumed the problem was fixed and I'd get a different code unrelated to the sensors given my other issues. The next day my wife tells me the check engine light is on. I plug in my reader and notice that, even though the sensor is present, the voltage was not changing. I did also have a code for the downstream O2 sensor. I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I reset one more time. The problem returned the next day.I didn't have time to wait for a new part to come from Amazon and to return this one, so I purchased another locally. When installed the locally purchased Bosch unit responded with voltage changes. The code cleared. Two days later I got a code for my real problem, which then gave me the information I needed to fix the car.I did notice some differences between the no good sensor and the locally purchased one in terms of the printing on it's body. The bad unit had less information. Maybe it missed a quality check or something. I put the bad unit back in the box for the store bought one and returned it for a full refund. Still, this was a hassle I would have rather not had 3 days before needing the vehicle. Hopefully it doesn't happen next time I purchase a part on Amazon.

Product did not fit my car but that is not boschs fault. I took it out of the box and was surprised on how well the wires were sealed along with how durable the sensor felt. Came in a perfect fitting box. Would give 5 stars if it fit my car like it said.

This is a very good price for a replacement 02 sensor. I had to replace the bank 2 sensor 2 oxygen sensor on my 1998 Trans Am WS6 and this fit and works perfectly. The price is also very good. The sensor I had to replace on my vehicle is also in a very easy location to do it yourself. It is on the passenger size exhaust near the door. I used one of the sockets made for 02 sensors which have a slot in them for the wire which also made it an easy swap. These sensors come already coated with some grease and glass beads in the threads as and anti-seize measure. I added a bit of extra anti-seize myself since these can be difficult to remove.Of course when you remove these you should do it with a hot exhaust to make them easier to remove. In some cases one has to use a torch to heat up the area to be able to get them out. Or you might get lucky and it comes out easily. So just not to take chances I think it is a good practice to use some extra anti-seize in case you need to replace the sensor again. Also depending upon the location you might want to add some metal to cover the wires. There are various ways to do this including metal tape. The stock on had braided metal over the wires and it is possible to cut it off and attach it to the new one. Since the wires to the sensor are so close to hot exhaust it is not a bad idea to come up with some sort of preventative measure such as this during your install. So a very inexpensive replacement part that works like stock and is easy to install save for those possible removable issues.
