As a driver works really well for all home use I have done. As an impact driver doesn't work that well, specially for loosing the lug nuts of my car (100 ft/lbs torque).

I've been using Bosch cordless tools for a long time. When my cordless impact driver walked off recently, I upgraded to the 1/2 drive impact model. I've always wanted one. It struck me as handy. Of course, you get what you pay for, so I didn't get one in the past because they're not cheap.Imagine my surprise when I saw a factory-rebuilt unit for a reasonable price; I've had good luck in the past with reconditioned tools. I don't mind that someone had used it once upon a time. Of course, my question was HOW much it had been used. Would this be a very worn tool with new brushes and rubber? I didn't know, but decided to try one out.Well, when I received this set, I was struck by the fact that everything looked brand new. If it wasn't for a "reconditioned" sticker on the base, I would have never known!There is a handy, well-built mini-duffel bag in this set, a charger, instructions, a battery, and the tool itself. It's an excellent deal, and I tried everything out. The charger charged, and the battery worked as advertised. Of course, the driver backed out 4" screws with no issue- Bosch impacts have excellent power. But would it loosen a full-sized vehicle's lug nut? There was only one way to find out. I put a 13/16 socket on the 1/2 drive, seated it on the lug nut, and pulled the trigger. After about a second of hammering, the lug nut backed right off!Impressive performance. Now, I don't know if I'd use it all the time to loosen lugs, but it's nice to know it has the power to do so in a pinch.Good tool, great price, and no compromises. Recommend.

Beautifully reconditioned, I put it to work on a 25x10 deck rehabilitation project and nothing but great results.

I love Bosch tool. Have a whole line of them. Expected good quality on the new model impact and driver, but was severely let down by this model impact. Used it a few times and it basically just loosened up and is about to break. Very disappointed. Stick with the original 802 impact with 1/4” bit receiver 1/2” socket driver. Now that’s a good tool!
