Holds up well. I always use tapping oil and I I make sure to back it off several times while tapping.

This tap was very good used it heavily for my work project and it did hold up well. I give this tap a 4 star rating because it did brake after 1 day of use and I was only taping 6061 aluminum very soft. So I do recommend just not for heavily usage

Like pretty much all things made by Bosch, this is very well made and cuts nicely. I snapped one from a cheap kit and bought this to replace it. It cuts very nice threads and I foresee it lasting me a very long time.

Designed a 3D enclosure for a Logitech C510 camera that I lost the housing for a decade ago. :P Used this to tap the threads so I could use standard camera accessories with it. Tap worked perfectly and threads were nice and clean. Granted, PLA is very soft material and it chewed right though it no problem. I recommend getting a tap handle. I didn't get one and had to use my drill with it. Pre-drilled holes are mandatory, it's not a drill bit, for cutting threads only. No complaints worked exactly as intended.
