These are hands down the best bits I've ever used. The ribs definitely make a difference. I've tried all the major brands. They definitely fit the best and don't cam out near what other bits do. I recommend using an actual bit holder that is not magnetic. These fit so well the bits usually will get stuck in the screw with magnetic holders. For high torque impact drivers these may break but i haven't had any issues and with the 1" bits being cheap enough i don't mind breaking a few up get better fit. The other bit i like is makita gold for high torque.

Seem like the old vermont american 16432's. Those are my all time favorite phillips bits, and these come in a close second. I even heard somewhere that they're the same bit, but I just don't think that's exactly true.

I like the length and the teeth on these bits and they don't Cam-Out as bad as other bits which also makes them a good deal for the price because I don't go through them like other bits. Second would be the Kobalt Impact but I still take these 2-1 over others! Give them a try. I think you'll be glad you did.

I tried a bunch of drill bits, these are a lot more durable. That being said, they last forever with an impact driver, but with a regular drill you can still expect them to strip fairly quickly. Would say they last 10x as much as Ryobi( stay away from these) , 2-3 more than the Milwaukee, DeWalt bits I have tried (very rough estimate ;-) )

These #2 Philips driver bits with power groove are well made, and work well in my Bosch power drivers (PS21 / PS41) and my DeWalt 14.4v drill. With five in one package, or about a buck and a quarter each, they are a good value. They fit the screws I've used them with snugly.The power groove (the shoulder that goes all around the bit, near the end that goes into the power driver) is a requirement to be used in the Bosch PS41, as I found out the hard way (bits without it jam and are hard to remove). Because these have the power groove, they can be used in the PS41 without a bit holder.Bosch is a German company, but they have outsourced the manufacture of these bits to China. The Amazon page incorrectly says made in USA. In fact, most tools and accessories these days are made in China. Chinese products vary widely in quality and in quality control - some bad and some reasonably good. The best products have set up good quality control; these tend to be companies that had the best reputations when they had their own manufacturing, such as Bosch. While I have only used these driver bits a short time and cannot speak for their long term wear, they do seem reasonably good, especially when compared to other Chinese products.Four stars means "I Like It". I find no defects; they work well; they do not excel in any noticeable way; they appear to be well made; they are an excellent value. I reserve five stars for products that go beyond expectations; these meet expectations especially for the price.

The product description specifically says that this product is MADE IN USA, but upon arrival BOSCH CCP2205, 5 pack of bits clearly says MADE IN CHINA on the back.THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! I look for and go out of my way to BUY AMERICAN!I went to two "big box" hardware stores looking for Made in USA #2 Phillips screwdriver bits and the only ones I found were in large sets of multiple sizes.I then looked at Amazon's site and found these with "MADE IN USA" on the same page. I was elated and immediately placed my order. Service was great - especially considering Christmas is almost upon us. BUT it turned out to be more chinese crap!I find chinese steel and tools to be INFERIOR (in quality compared to USA made)! Aside from any argument on that topic, I just don't wish to support THEIR economy when ours is in the toilet (sadly by our own greedy hands).I'll have to descide if I'll return this item or use them and take it up with the local district attorney.
