No issues with these blades. No need to buy the high speed steel blades (HSS blades) these do everything asked and more.

Well, nice and sharp, every bit the equal of the blades I received with the planer.But, CRITICAL, for me, was that I ordered the Bosch PA1206 HSS Blade Leveling... gauge with the new blades. Prior to using this I was continually disappointed with the results I received. Even after sending the planer to a certified repair station, results were not professional. With this gauge I was finally able to set both blades at EQUAL AND PROPER depths. Finally I was getting results I expected from square 1.I tried micrometers, digital calipers, etc prior to buying the gauge and failed to get results I needed. Now my Bosch Planer is running on all 8 cylinders. If you don't have the gauge, don't buy blades with one.

I have 5 sets of Japanese traditional planer which is using for fishing face of materials. This planer having durable blade is easy to planiing for preparing materials in high efficiancy ,then I 'm using to this planer .I.E. this planer achieve three or four times one set of Japanese planer planing works.I like this blade have long life and less split loss ,then I am easy get in hand to constant working of planing.
