The Bose website says that this is compatible with the Bose TV Speaker. It is not. Older model?

Although this is said to be a renewed product, it seems to be brand new to me. Amazing level of bass that once set up, is a great compliment to my Bose Soundbar 700. I guess if ya want the whole house shaking, get the bass module 700 but this 500 is certainly no slouch. It is easy to set up using the Bose App. My one concern is, to me, the bottom of the unit gets quite warm because that's where the circuit board is located.
