Have been using this product in the HVAC industry since 1981. Have found nothing better for the time when you need to remove something. However on many new things I take it apart and use it but it back together and if I have to take it apart years down the road no worries. Very highly recommended

I love this stuff! It's terrific for high-pressure applications where oil will get squeezed out and lead to galling. I use it on threads that take a heavy load, so clamp or vise threads for an example, also between the heads and washers of high-torque fasteners. I also use it on plain bearings (like a metal pin pivoting in a metal hole, no ball or roller bearings) where appropriate (not for high-speed shafts running in Oilite bearnings, more for pivots and the like). It seems I reach for it a couple times a day. It produces a really smooth movement in threads and seems like it works its way into the "pores" in the metal, providing long-lasting protection. It does seem to get all over the place though, so keep paper towels handy to clean up any excess or it will end up on nose, your light switches, and your furniture :)
