The description of how many/ much needed for coverage was vague, as I was installing 2-1/4” HWF and needed a little more than two boxes was glad I initially got 2, then needed to order one more at the last minute!

Just what I needed for a 1/2" t&g floor over 15lb felt over a 3/4" ply underlayment. Good purchase.

Working as well as the Porta-nails. Used in a Bostitch BTFP12569 2-in-1 Flooring Nailer with zero issues. These are slightly thicker overall than the Porta-nails with a square end versus the rounded end of the Porta-nails, same length though. Both brands worked equally well. I would recommend either. Ordered a single 1000 nail pack with 2-3 loose nails and one separated rail.

These nails are by far the best. Grip strength is superb...if by chance you bend one over, don't even attempt to pull it out, just snip it off. I used a manual Bostich nail gun with excellent results. The only nails I bent was my fault, I didn't strike the hammer hard enough the first time and bent the nail on the second strike....this only happened in confined spaces like the closets, where I had to reduce my hammer swing....but the nails are strong !!! Amazon delivered overnight, when I couldn't find any locally. Amazon helped keep the progress of the floor installation going. No down time waiting for needed materials.

Flooring cleats are very well designed for their purpose. The points are actually a round, very sharp chisel that prevents splitting the tongues off the flooring. Then as you travel up it tapers to a flat L-topped nail with ridges on the edges (to grip the wood better. These cleats are stamped metal and are somewhat soft, which is a good thing when the occassional mis-hit bends one over(very easy to twist off with some pliers and move on.)I used 1 1/2inch cleats with the Bostich manual nailer for which they were designed. Highly recommend.

I used these cleats on 9/16 engineered wood. The manufacturer of the wood suggested 1 1/2 cleats or staples. Since the big hardware stores only carry 2 inch, I decided to buy these. They worked great with the manual floor nailer I also purchased from Amazon. Since these nails were shorter I was able to drive them in to the wood with greater ease than the 2 inch cleats. One problem was if a cleat got removed from the entire row, that wayward cleat would sometime cause my floor nailer to jam as it would some time turn in the loading chamber, but that could happen to any brand or size cleats.

I purchased these 'L' cleats to use for installation of a strand bamboo flooring of approximately 640 square feet. They performed well and despite the hardness of the material, they never deformed or bent. They worked very well in an Akuzuki pro-series cleat/staple nailer. The only reason I gave them four stars rather than five is because they seemed to separate rather easily when handled prior to loading into the stapler. I don't know whether other brands of flooring cleats do this as well, and they otherwise performed flawlessly. I would purchase again.
