Got this to create a barrier to keep the birds away from our tomatoes this year. We always have a problem with the birds poking holes in our tomatoes as the are growing. Doesn't seem like they really eat them. Rather they keep poking holes in them to taste them and find out they don't want them!Did some test assembly and seems to work well. Some of the green fiberglass pole sections have edges that are a bit rough where they were cut. This makes it difficult to insert them into the aluminum connectors so I had to use a little bit of sandpaper to clean them up. So no big deal.The poles are flexible, but not floppy. So yes you can make the bends but you need to put together a good number of sections before trying. Basically you can't make tight bends with only a few sections. In our case we are using them for a 2 foot wide bed and making the loop about 4 feet tall.Includes clips to secure netting which is nice. Undecided whether I'll use them or just tie it to the loops. Note that the netting is not included.Includes enough parts for our needs but it's nice that it's modular and you could always buy another set to expand your coverage.

You get 6 sets of 8' long greenhouse hoops perfect for about 3' up 2' arc and 3' back down to the other side (in my case). You get hoops and the shade cloth too! I hate it when the birds eat my stuff - and this will protect everything! Easy to put together and they appear to stay put in the wind.

I got this set to protect my vegetable garden from being eaten up by squirrels, rabbits, birds and any other pest that might try to steal the fruits of my labor. I’ve tried to grow vegetables before but gave up when I would wake up to go water them, only to find out all my fruits and vegetables already had a bite taken out from them. I felt defeated so I stopped for a few years. Now I’m back at it again and I’m making sure I protect my garden. These hoops are great because you can adjust the size by how many you use at once. You can make the hoops width wider by adding more. I have a small garden, so this is perfect for my needs. They are easy to assemble and have a bunch of clips to help attach your netting. The clips are small to fit the small diameter of the poles. I may get more clips later. The price is comparable to others like it.

I got these hoops because they are fiberglass. Although the outer material on the hoops is plastic. The hoops slide easily into the connectors and the clips go on fairly well. The clips are plastic.. You do need a bit of strength to bend the hoops but is easier to make an arch when you add more hoops on. Just place the ends down into the soil and the tension with hold them in place. I would only purchase again if the entire hoop is made out of fiberglass or had a nontoxic metal outer shell/coating. I don't use any plastic in my garden. But these do work as intended.. So, I will give them a solid 4 stars.

Bendable fiberglass rods with aluminum connectors. Net is not included. I use these to place over my beds to keep out deer, birds, butterflies, and other pests. I use aluminum balasters to hold a plastic fence up and stick these into the ends of the balusters.

This is the third set of garden hoops I’ve ordered on Amazon, and the best. They are easy to install using the clear instructions and makes between 6 and 9 hoops, depending on how large you make each. These are typical fiberglass rods and aluminum connectors with plastic clips (BYO netting). These are also a good value.
