I got these to make a band to go around a sun hat. I already had some of the beads but I needed this set, along with the letters, to complete my project. I used the stretchable string and just made a big knot and cut off the ends. I will probably tack the to band to to hat before using it so it doesn’t fall off. I like that I can put anyone’s name on things to personalize my items. Some of the beads shown above are not from this set. The colored beads from this set are much prettier than the ones I already had and I want to save them for something nicer. I really like this set. My daughter and I will use them to make bracelets, keychains, water bottle charms,and hat bands. You can never have enough beads and this set has beautiful GLASS beads! I look forward to using more of this set in the future.

These are really pretty. The beads come in two types: crackled and opaque. There are also barrel beads that are in four colors which work well as spacers or as main beads. There are a lot of accessories to make your bracelet more unique, like charms, pearls, letter and number beads, bead caps, lobster clasps, lengths of chain, hooks, jump rings, and gold and silver stars. There are also gold and silver rhinestone beads, plus two types of elastic string, one clear and one white. It includes everything as pictured!You can make a ton of different styles out of what is included here. All of the beads are mostly uniform, with a few exceptions of one that is too tiny compared to the rest, and some of the white barrel beads in the blue one have pink centers, like around the inside of the hole. Not sure why, but those are still useable. There are many other white ones if it does bother you. The tiny one isn't useable and is a perfect sphere that is more like finding a pearl, but in a black pearlescent blue green coloration. Pretty enough to be a little treasure! So they're good quality overall, with probably about a statistical amount of rejects.

I do a lot crafts on clothes so I appreciate this a lot more than most adults. It would be super fun for kids but I will be decorating a mini skirt with some of the summer colors. What a good price too!

This is such an adorable and fun kit. The beads and the charms are really great quality, I was actually surprised. You get everything that is shown in the photos. I was afraid of getting random charms instead of the cute ones pictured, but they were exactly what was advertised. There is so much here to make a lot of different bracelets or phone charms. The box is also really nice for storage, with a clasp on each side to keep everything secure.There are two different kinds of elastic threads, one white and one clear, and I probably won't use the white. It seems like it will fray, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time, but you could also use twice the length and sort of "double string" the beads to keep it more secure. If I could give the kit 4.8 stars I would, but the white elastic wasn't enough to remove a whole star.

We've gifted this set and the recipient child was really pleased. We started bracelet-making together right away. This kit includes most every component needed, with a lovely variety.The quality is overall quite good, in terms of all the beads, plus many excellent charms (a few of them I didn't quite get, but there are many other solid choices).I also appreciate the organizer which closes securely.Recommend!I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases.
