When coil arrived it was packaged with bubble wrap and seemed to protect the coil well. It also included the attaching knobs, threaded rod, and friction washers which was very much appreciated. I put the coil on my Bounty Hunter II and powered up and tested on several items to compare to my existing factory coil. the indications matched up to what I expected using coins and rings. I bought this coil as a backup and am pleased with it. The cable is a bit shorter, but is long enough even with the shaft of my Bounty Hunter extended to max reach. Length of cable was not a problem.

I needed a replacement coil after my original one started to malfunction.I have a Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II and after I replaced the old coil itworked great again.I've been able to find small 22 bullet heads about 5 to 6inches underground.
