Works great for it's intended purpose, won't short out on nearby components.If you have ever tried to adjust the small pots with a small screwdriver, then you know it invariably slips out on the slot on the pot, this tool solves that problem as the plastic shell extends to the end of the adjusting blade.You'll wonder how you got along without it, I suggest buying two or more since they are easily lost and will be missed!Please let me know if you found my review "Helpful" or if you have any questions.Thanks!

I was under the impression that 3 tools came in the sales, maybe I should have read the page better. Quality wise the tool I got was average I guess. It's a molded stick with a bit of metal at each end. The metal tips haven't fallen out and don't wiggle, but the shafts could be a but more rigid. Really not much to say about these things I guess. Maybe somewhere there is a super duper pro model made of carbon fiber and titanium, and a really cheap hobo model that's just a sharpned popsicle stick... I haven't seen those yet.

As the other reviewers have mentioned, this little device is basic but helps tremendously. I am able to adjust pots without any slip like you would get from a screwdriver. Likewise, using this device for adjustments will help guard against issues such as accidentally shorting to another component.

This is such a simple but useful device that will save you a lot of frustration. I specifically sought out this tool after much frustration adjusting trim-pots with regular screwdrivers. On one end is a recessed screwdriver slot that fits over the trim-pot's adjustment dial. This allows you to turn the dial without the screwdriver slipping off. The other side of this tool has a smaller non-recessed screwdriver tip in case you need to adjust a smaller SMD trim-pot which can't use the recessed end.Sure, you can save some money and use your trusty tiny screwdriver, but screwdrivers often slip off the adjustment dial, potentially causing shorts, or just wasting your time. This particular trim-pot adjustment tool is made by the name-brand Bourns, and is constructed of sturdy plastic with metal screwdriver tips that won't wear out. Buy one and throw it into your toolbox, as it is very handy.
