ボーエンズマウントを持つスタジオライトに取り付けるコニカルスヌートです単体では使用出来ず、ボーエンズマウント搭載のスタジオライトが必須です。コニカルスヌートとは被写体にスタジオライトで作った光を投影するレンズで、ゴボと呼ばれる影絵部分の部品を取り付けることによって様々な影を作り出すことも可能です。ゴボ以外にもカラーフィルターの取り付けも可能で被写体に半透明の色を投影して雰囲気のある画作りを行うことが出来ます。当製品は中華製にしてはそこそこお値段がするだけあって高級品に負けない作りで精度も高い。付属レンズはフォーカスの変更が可能で影自体にボカシを入れることが可能ですが、独自マウントなのでできればEFマウントなど汎用性あるマウントの方が良かったかもしれません。ゴボの取り付けはスリットリングを入れることで簡単に変更可能なのが使いやすいライト側の放熱フィンからの熱を逃がす放熱穴も空いているので熱に対しても考慮されています一点注意点としてコニカルスヌートを取り付けることによってライトの重心がかなり前のめりになるのでライト側のスタンドはある程度の大きさと強度が必要です。プロ以外でも物撮りが好きな方でスタジオライトを持っている方などは撮影のレベルアップが出来る良い製品だと思います。

The light attachment is fun and easy to use . I paired it with a LED NEEWER 200W light and it got so hot the plastic color filter kind of melted. The lens cap is now stuck and I'm having a difficult time unscrewing it out to take out the filter, other than that the "textures" it comes with to change lighting looks is fun!!

Review for: "Bowens Mount Projector Attachment,Spotlight Conical Optical Snoot kit for LED Video Light/Continuous Output Lighting,Compatible with Aputure Amaran 60D/60X/150c,Godox SL60W/SL60IID/SL100D,NEEWER CB60"Build quality is good. Made of mostly metal.It comes with 5 colors gel and 24 pattern cards for creative background.Even though it said compatible with 60 watts light source, in my opinion, to be effective it need at least 200 watts. Because the snoot produce a small focus light, and to produce a decent size background it need to be pointed from a distance. It is different than the snoot that to be used to produce back hair light which can be pointed from a shorter distance.The 5 colors gel is not recommended, because it blocked the light even more. I just recommend to use RGB light source instead. More colors option, and produce sharper color. Anyway, it is there just in case we need it.The 24 pcs of different patterns GOBO is really interesting to produce a different background in the studio. For creativity it even can simulated diffent type of light source (as of ot comes from windows, etc).When use GOBO card, the lens can be set to focus on the subject (eg. the model when it simulate light source) or focus on the background. Or it can also set out of focus pattern.Overall it is a nice creativity tool in studio that we can experiment with multiple light source.

I’m very happy with this purchase. It is very useful product and I’ve been looking for something like this for a while. It has a very good solid design and it’s a great way to add patterns to projects . 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A gobo is just that extra step in film or photography. The metal disk project a shape on the wall and you can add just that one extra step of production value.To achieve this you need a lens that can focus the beam of light onto the wall and get the light filters by the gobo on the desired shape. Think of Commissioner Gordon on the show Batman that anytime Batman was needed they would project the batman symbol on the clouds. That is a gobo.The LapGood Snoot has a tight mount on the Gobo ensuring perfect focus. Some other Snoots can't focus properly. This one is sharp! Very nice.I would only want a zoom lens (probably can get one, so I can position the setup further aways from the projection screen and still get the size I want. With the included lens, you basically have to move the whole setup to achieve a specific size on the screen. It comes with a 50mm lenses, so I assume you can get different lenses to get different sizes of projections.Overall very happy with this snoot.

The Lapgood optical snoot is very well made-- solid construction with a smoothly turning focus ring. Like most optical snoots it's all metal, relying on the "swiss cheese" holes for airflow to reduce heat (and like all snoots, it does get hot). The mount is a true Bowens, and has no difficulty fitting on any of my lights. What I like best about the Lapgood model is that the included gobos, which are high quality metal, include a fair number of practical designs. These are largely different windows and blinds (as well as a slot), and there could be more variety (such as foliage); but Lapgood understands what nearly every other manufacturer gets wrong. That the main use of a gobo is to reproduce practical/real-life light patterns, not abstract ones. The only shortcoming I've found is that the gobo holder doesn't lock into place, allowing it to fall out if you rotate the light, or are just carrying the snoot from one spot to another. The Labgood is fairly heavy, which is something to consider when matching it to a light stand; this is also true of other full-sized optical snoots.

I've used gobo projects before when working on other people's projects, but until now we never had one in our own home studio where we do mostly product photography.It's and easy way to add some cool effects to static photos, such as projecting a window that's not actually there, or even some more abstract backgrounds to just make static photos a little more interesting.It fits onto any lamp that has a Bowen mount, and that part is easy peezy to set up. It does get hot, so it helps that the entire outer shell is a basically a metal heat sink, but you'll still need to be careful. (same with pretty much any light).Otherwise, it's easy to set up, isn't particularly expensive compared to other units, and does come with a good amount of patterns and filters.

The LAPGOOD OS-550 Pro easily slides onto a GVM LED video lamp and fits other Bowen mount fixtures in the studio. The unit has a large metal heat sync surrounding it, which is helpful because even though it's mounted to an LED light, it gets hot fast. The entire unit is metal; I can not tell if the lens is glass or plastic. Spin the lens to find focus. The box did not contain instructions, but it is pretty intuitive to set up.The gobos are metal and fit into a wide slot, which leaks a fair amount of light. The gobo holder is made of thin metal. It also comes with a variety of color filters and a plastic filter holder that screws into the end of the lens.The OS-550 Pro does a good job of focusing light. It is an excellent choice for a person like me who sets up my own shots. I don't think it would stand up to rigorous daily production in a large commercial studio or a classroom setting.

Bowensマウントのコニカルすスヌートです。様々な型抜きがされたGOBOを取り換えて、色んな形状の光を作り出せます。GOBOは購入時にいくつか付属していました。既にSNOOPHOのコニカルスヌートを持っていますが、それよりも値段が倍するだけあって、細部の作りと内外レンズが合計２つ用意されているので、しっかりした印象がします。それだけでもウキウキになりました。レンズは独自マウントなのかねじ込み式です。何マウントか分からないので、このレンズがダメになると代用が利かない可能性はあります。あとマウント部はアルミ金属で覆われており、周囲は網目状のヒートシンク兼防護筐体となっていますが、構造は特に珍しくもなく普通の形状です。放熱性には懐疑的です。特にこの商品説明画像にあるような、LEDビデオライトで使う用途には注意が必要で、製品によっては発光面のLEDチップが溶着する可能性がある思います。定常光での利用には十分注意した方がいいです。コニカルスヌートの中では非常に良い作りですし、ストロボで使う分には問題なく使える素晴らしい機材だと思います。
