I really wanted this to be great....but it isn't for me at least. There isn't even a single slip of paper to show you how to adjust the length of the elastic string. My arms are WAY longer than my daughter, so we need to adjust for our reach. Also, there is a piece of velcro attached on the string, but with no way to see what that is supposed to do, it is unknown what this was for. I even looked online for other sellers, other similar products, and nothing looked like it was shipped with a piece of elastic fully over 6 feet long. They should really at least put a quick video or QR code to link to some kind of user guide.

Honestly it's just bad. This is perhaps the worst clone of an item I've ever gotten. The elastic string is so weak and flimsy that it will barely rebound the ball back towards you. I had to shorten it up by wrapping it around the headband. The headband itself is uncomfortable and scratch because it's literally just a piece of velcro with a loop for the ball to hook to. It's just a bad product. Don't buy this thinking you're getting a decent clone of the viral/popular boxing ball product. This ain't it.

I ordered this because I was curious to give it a try. I've seen videos of people doing it, and it looks like fun. The product arrived pretty much ready to go. You just need to uncoil the cord from the Velcro tab, attach the Velcro tab to the metal D-ring on the headband, and put the headband on. You're now ready to punch and miss until your heart's content (or until your frustration quotient has been met for the day!).I noticed another reviewer was uncertain how to shorten the cord. The easiest way to do that is to wrap the cord around the velcro tab as many times as needed to get the desired length of cord. Remove the velcro tab from the D-ring and start wrapping the cord around the velcro tab (just like you'd wrap string around a stick). Once the cord has been shortened to the appropriate length, reattach the velcro tab to the D-ring. If multiple people use the device, have each one count the number of wraps they need to get the proper length and write that down. That should make it easier to move from person to person, with each person quickly able to adjust the device for their arm length.Overall, I found it to be a fun and frustrating tool (at least until I got used to it). It's also a great way to get those arms and shoulders moving during the day. For under $10 ($9.99 at the time of this review), I think it's a fun and inexpensive way to get a little workout in.

Very lightweight easy to figure out. Very difficult for a beginner. I got this to try and have something to help be a bit more active and it's beyond my skill. I have poor hand eye coordination and this amplifies it.

This is a super fun toy with a steep learning curve. As another reviewer mentioned, it comes with no instructions at all. However, we quickly figure out you just wrap the elastic around the velcro strap that attaches to the headband, try out a couple of different lengths, and start punching. Overall, while not the most sturdy product in the world, it doesn't need to be due to the light weight of ball. I'm sure it will last a long time.We deducted a star because the head strap is a little uncomfortable and irritates the skin. On the other hand, it cleans easily (wipe off that sweat before handing it over to the next person) and will fit my giant head as well as the perfectly sized head of my daughters.

Got this because I saw a YouTube video of someone using this kind of item. Figured improving my reaction speed and hand eye coordination would be fun and helpful for a variety of sports.Super simple item to put together and start playing with. Much more difficult to use effectively! After 20 minutes of trying, my longest streak is 4 punches - lol! Thank goodness, the ball is super soft. Does not hurt at all if you get smacked in the face or blasted in the family jewels. However, I do recommend eye protection! I got whipped in the eye by the string and it stung much more than I would have ever imagined. Despite that single interaction, I did have quite a bit of fun with this. It was interesting that my cat was giving me an "are you a lunatic?" stare most of the time.Price is pretty cheap so I think it is a good value. Admittedly, I cannot speak to the quality of this compared to others, but so far I am happy with it. Hopefully I can improve my competence with this thing.
