This is a very serviceable little microphone set for your iPhone video needs. You don't need to download any special apps or software to use this with your iPhone. I received mine and charged them up. Looking for documentation does get a little trickier. The included pamphlet is very small. It shows a diagram of charging that assumes you've bought the version of this that includes a charging case. For more details, you need to scan the QR code to get the instructions. My first challenge is that, for whatever reason, my phone camera wanted to default to the lower of the two QR codes on the page--and that takes you to instructions in Mandarin. I eventually had to cover this QR code with my hand to get to the English page. That QR code simply takes you to the company website where you have to search for the product by number to get the manual...but the fun continues because the BY-V20 doesn't have a manual online. Luckily the BY-V2 does have a manual, and those instructions worked fine for me. Really all you need from those instructions is the page showing you how to interpret the blinking indicator lights that show if you are paired, muted, in Noise Reduction Mode, etc. (And you have to know what these lights mean because the push buttons themselves are just toggles to turn the power or noise reduction mode on and off, so without the lights you have no idea if you are indeed on or off.) This company won't win an award for product documentation, but the product itself seems quite useful. This does come with a little bag for storage, but the box seems more secure and isn't very big, so I'll likely stick with that for now. Since all charging happens over USBC it should also be simple to keep a portable battery available in the field if a boost is needed.

コンパクトながら風防もあって屋外で使えるマイク。ペアリングもスムーズでコネクタに挿し込むだけで簡単に使えるようになります。無線は2.4GHzですが他と干渉しづらいという利点もあるのでこれでいいのかも。実際に20mほど離れた場所で使ってもほとんどノイズ等は乗りませんし、いざというときはノイズキャンセリングのボタンで一気にまわりのザワザワ音を消すことも可能です。マイクは口元に近ければ近いほどいいのですが、衣服やカバンなど数十cmくらいの範囲なら大丈夫。軽いので装着していることを忘れてしまいそうです。

This mic set is a great little find for quick, on-the-go recording. It works perfectly with my USB-C devices like my laptop. No app or complicated setup needed. Just plug it in and start recording.The sound quality is clear, and the noise reduction does a nice job of minimizing background noise during recordings. I’ve used it for videos and voiceovers, and the clip-on design is super convenient and lightweight.I originally got this hoping to use it with my iPhone 14, but since it has a Lightning port, it’s not compatible without an adapter. Just something to be aware of. But since I will be likely upgrading my phone soon, that won't be an issue much longer and I can still use it with my macbook.That said, the microphones are small, easy to use, the battery life is solid, and the wireless range is impressive.It could have come with a little case instead of a pouch though to better protect them on the go. But, overall, this is a good value though and I’m happy with it.

A really good device that does what it claims.One of my sons is a wannabe pop star, and he fitted this to his phone to try it out, and it amazed him. He can now use his phone to try out his songs with greater clarity than before just using his phones mike.I also used it to record the antics of my youngest grandchild who is 5, and because he does not notice the discreet mini mikes, the recordings are very natural, as normally he becomes very aware, which can be entertaining, but I like to record him when he is unaware and more natural.It is a bit pricy, but I feel you get what you pay for, the range is excellent, and the battery life is more than adequate for normal use.

The Boya USB-C Microphone kits are great, I'm actually super happy with their overall build quality, and how they perform. It definitely far exceeded my expectations.I've used a few cheaper branded kits, and it's obvious in the audio quality.The Boya range of microphones are great, and do the job quite well. Specifically, the noise cancelling feature helps to reduce background noises in audio, to help with a more crisp voice recording.While the Noise Cancelling feature does make voices sound slightly strange, almost muffled, it's still a good feature, and definitely works - I did a quick test turning it off and on, off and on, and it's quite obvious!

Severe hearing loss makes me dependent on ways to convert sound to text. I was unsure that the facilities for sound to speech available on my Windows 11 desktop PC would work with a wireless microphone so took a chance on ordering the Boya system -- feeling its low price was worth the risk. On arrival, I plugged the receiver into a USB port and gave a microphone unit to my wife. I opened Notebook and used the windows key + H combination which resulted in appearance of a little notice of listening and, whoopeee, text of what was being said 25 feet away appearing in the Notebook window.

Très bonne surprise pour ce micro, la qualité sonore est bluffante.La connexion est instantanée sur mon Android et l’annulation de bruit marche bien.Compact et léger, parfait pour les interviews ou les vlogs.Le clip à 360° est pratique, mais il faut éviter les tissus trop fins.À ce prix, difficile de faire mieux pour un setup mobile.🎙️📲🎥 5/5

I received the BOYA BY-V20 Wireless Microphone, and the package includes two microphones, a receiver, two charging cables, a carrying bag, and a user manual.I tested the wireless microphones by connecting the receiver to the USB-C port of my laptop from about 25 feet away, and I was impressed with the performance, especially for a budget microphone system. The noise reduction function worked well, filtering out background sound from the television while I was testing.However, setting it up was not without challenges. The instruction manual was unclear, and finding the online manual on the product’s website was difficult. When I finally located it, it wasn’t very helpful. I eventually found a video tutorial, but it only added to the confusion—the receiver in the video had a green light to indicate charging and an on/off button on the back, neither of which I could find on my unit. After some troubleshooting, I realized that the receiver does have a light, but it only appears when the unit is charged, and there is no dedicated power button—it turns on automatically when inserted into the USB-C port.The receiver also works with Android devices, though you may need to remove your phone case if it prevents a proper connection. The product information states that the microphone may not be compatible with all cell phones and suggests using an adapter if there is no USB-C port. It is also compatible with laptops and iPads that have USB-C connectivity. I should note that the microphones and receiver are already paired.Overall, this microphone system does a great job of capturing voice clearly from a distance while effectively filtering out background noise. It is easy to set up, but I recommend charging the receiver before using it to avoid confusion. If you don’t see green lights on the microphones when turning them on, you may need to charge them as well. Additionally, while the product information states that three lithium batteries are required, the batteries are already built into the microphones and receiver, so no separate purchase is necessary. In spite of the challenges, I give this product 5 stars because it does work very well, and it really is an easy to set up plug in play system.
