I got this Doruro Kids Hiking Waterproof Jacket Lightweight Rain Jacket with Detachable Hood which can also be a termed as Windcheater for my 9 year old. I got it in a little bigger size as he is longer in the torso region so though it is a bit bigger for him now, he will grow into it in time. That being said it fits him nicely. Previously, all that he had was thick winter jackets or jackets with removable fleece linings but when time came in summer no one had the time to remove or put back in those linings. So I wanted a typical soft shell spring to autumn jacket which can deal with mild cold and rain and this is perfect for that. The colour is soothing to the eyes too. Also, it comes with 3 hand pockets and one great feature that I like about this jacket is the reflective strip design which come shandy in the dark. The chin guard flap is also a nice feature to have. Overall, it has been a nice addition to my son's wardrobe and I do not have to find another one for a couple years.

Well made, fits well for an 11 year old. The seams are all taped and there's enough room for a sweater underneath the jacket. I do have some minor gripes though; first, the hood could use some more structure at the brim. There isn't much (if any) and it sags down in wind and heavier rain. The second gripe is that the sewing in the pocket on the arm isn't ideal and may let some water seep through past the taping.Overall however, the gripes are relatively minor and overall the jacket is rather well made. It's a great spring/fall jacket.

This is a very high quality waterproof and lightweight rain jacket that really exceeded my expectations! It fits my 9 year old son perfectly (Size 9-10) and it closes closely around his face which keeps the water out. The jacket is marked with small highly reflective markings to ensure extra visibility in inclement weather. The jacket is extremely well made and will last much longer than my sons need for it. My son looks very athletic and sporty in this jacket and the best part is that it does not take up much space in his book bag. I highly recommend this jacket to other parents as it will last for a long time to come due to high quality materials and manufacture. The forearm pocket is perfect for his phone and I am really glad I took a chance on this brand.

This is a nice quality rain jacket that I got for my 5 year old. The material is waterproof, rain won't get through. The jacket is not for warmth though, so we do need to layer up for colder days. Otherwise nice design with the white zipper accents.
