I have a friend who’s who is not very good at fixing things and one of his brothers was rough housing in his beautiful cabin, and this very old lamp was broken. The they thought it was unfixable and I told them I would give it a try. I searched on the Internet for the glass portion with no luck found it on Amazon and it was delivered the next day. The result a perfect fit and family heirloom saved.

have a old style pole lamp with a mogal socket. never thought i would find a glass globe replacement. it fits perfectly. just like another lamp i have. glad they are on Amazon.

The lampshade fits perfectly and is of excellent quality, but if you can buy elsewhere- you should. The company inadvertently enclosed the invoice from their supplier, which revealed that they paid $54.98 American for the shade. They then charged me $147.35. When I protested the markup they claimed fees, exchange, and shipping costs- but I am a prime member (free shipping?) and am appalled that they have downloaded these costs into their pricing to the extent that - even with the exchange to CAD- results in an over 100% markup. I'm not ok with that, but they appear to be. I paid twice what this item was worth, which isn't ok with me.

The bottom has a bump out rim on the very bottom edge. My lamp is very old (uses mogul base bulbs). I removed the security screw and the shade would not go down over the bulb base.... After much grumbling etc....I noticed on the opposite side of the security screw hole were two bumps pushed in from the outside. Got pliers and pushed them back out.... Viola... shade fit perfectly. I "assume" in the old days the shades did not have the bulge on the bottom edge. Looks good, but not a five because of the bulging lip

If you own an antique mogul size floor lamp, this is the shade you need. My lamp tipped (kids will be kids) and the shade broke. The lamp is at least 50 years old and just getting bulbs was a chore. I was surprised to find this item on amazon: looks like an original antique white shade. Delivered in good time.
