A pretty little EDC pry bar that won't break the bank. But for the quality...you get what you pay for. Mine came with the bottle opener portion having a chip on the lower part. Also the half circle grooves/slots were sharp that I had to file them to make it smoother. These are some things their QA department can improve. It's good enough to fit in your pant pocket with its 9.5 cm length and 40 grams weight. The included lanyard is a bit stiff but has 2 loops that you can use for the pry bar and probably for the key chain on the other loop. The flat sides have a black stone wash finish and the grooved sides were shiny and ground. Works fine with light tasks but be careful using it in wet conditions as there is risk for rust/corrosion. Overall, nice pick for the budget conscious.

This is a solid little pry tool. PeopleComplain about the “patina” or roughness of the finishing. I actually like it, I think it adds character.

My initial impressions are that this is a quality tool, and will be useful. It is not perfect but hear me out as to why:Pros:Arrives with machining oil still on it. I’m assuming this is for the plane ride so it doesn’t start rusting the steel immediately (greatly appreciated). I can tell that this is done intentionally because it comes with napkins to wipe off the excess after you receive it.Comes with a lanyard, was not expecting that or planning on using it in that way but I actually like it with the lanyardIt’s not too big that it becomes bulky, and has good weight to it, but it also is small enough that you forget about it in your pocket.The length is just right. I have big hands and I can still get a great purchase on the tool.Cons:The machined edges are SHARP. I cut myself almost immediately on the bottle opener trying to use the flat end to turn a flat head screw on my key organizer. Easy fix, I took some sand paper to the edges and it is perfect now. That is literally my only problem, and I don’t know if that is a problem specific to me or not. Other might like the sharp edges for cutting things if they have to. You’ll have to decide for yourself.The tool is perfect now with one minor tweak. I’ll be buying more items! Very happy!

I have a handful of small pry bars in different materials, including a highly-polished titanium one that I keep on my keyring -- it is the contrasting unpolished look that attracted me to this product from BPS Knives.The pry bar arrives wrapped and coated in tool oil to protect it from rust -- use the included napkin (or a shop rag) to clean it up before handling; a wash with a mild soap might be a good idea, too.I appreciate that BPS Knives includes images of the real product in their listing; it makes it easy to know what you're actually getting when so many sellers rely solely on computer renders. My only reason for rating this pry bar less than five stars is that mine arrived with burrs along some of the scalloped features (see pictures) -- two minutes with a Dremel tool took care of that problem, but taking two extra minutes during production would have been appreciated.Aside from that little detail, the pry bar is exactly what I expected and handles typical pry bar duties without issue. Its weight makes it feel substantial despite its size, and it looks like it will last for decades with the minor care that 1066 requires.
