Worked well for my application, used green 4mm round rough PU belt no problem. Used 4851 Loctite and primer (adhesive on one end and primer on the other) made simple fixture for alignment, I let cure over night...Low power application so did not try to break the joint...Way more expensive than joining heat melted ends but super neat...
